A bacterial infection also called soft chancre. A few days after becoming infected, little sores on the genitals appear and the lymph nodes in the groin area become painful and swollen, sometimes to the point of bursting. These lesions develop into a very painful affair. Women often have no symptoms at all.
The illness is especially prevalent in the tropics and rare in Europe.
Treatment with antibiotics.
In major western cities, chancre is on the rise. Little souvenirs from holiday trips. And actually, it would be kind of rude to pass this on as a souvenir.
